University of Memphis academic advisors traveled to Costa Rica for eight days for a first-hand experience studying in Costa Rica at Veritas University. Advisors attended lectures taught by Veritas University faculty, visited a Bribri indigenous reserve, and the city of Limon. Advisors also had the opportunity to engage with UofM students studying at Veritas. They visited classes that students were enrolled in and learnt first-hand some of the issues students had traveling to Costa Rica which included missing their flight, lost baggage, and adapting to their host families.
